Getting Started with Pawfect-Fit

This guide will walk you through installing and configuring Pawfect-Fit on your Shopify store.

Installation​

Step 1: Install the App​

  1. Visit the Shopify App Store and search for "Pawfect-Fit"
  2. Click Add app
  3. Review the permissions and click Install app

Step 2: Complete Setup​

After installation, you'll be taken to the Pawfect-Fit dashboard where you can:

  1. Activate the App: Toggle the app on for your store
  2. Configure Appearance: Customize button colors and text
  3. Set Loading Messages: Customize the message shown while images generate

How It Works​

  1. Browse Products — Customer views a harness, collar, or apparel item on your store
  2. Click Try-On — They click the "Try on your pet" button on the product page
  3. Upload Photo — Customer uploads a clear photo of their dog
  4. AI Magic — Our AI generates a realistic image of their dog wearing the product
  5. See Results — Customer instantly sees how the harness, collar, or apparel looks on their pet
  6. Buy with Confidence — No more guessing about fit or style!

Best Practices​

For Store Owners​

  1. Feature compatible products: Enable Pawfect-Fit on harnesses, collars, bandanas, coats, and other wearable items
  2. Use clear product images: Better product photos = better AI results
  3. Guide your customers: Add instructions on your product pages about getting the best results

For Customers​

Share these tips with your customers for best results:

  • Use a clear, well-lit photo of their dog
  • Ensure the photo shows the neck/chest area for collars and harnesses
  • Use photos with simple backgrounds
  • Face the dog towards the camera
  • Full body shots work best for coats and apparel

Troubleshooting​

The button isn't showing​

  1. Check that the app is activated in your dashboard
  2. Ensure the product is compatible (harnesses, collars, apparel, bandanas, etc.)
  3. Clear your browser cache
  4. Contact support if the issue persists

Images aren't generating​

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Try a different pet photo
  3. Ensure the photo is under 10MB
  4. Contact support if the issue persists
